This was a Childhood Favorite of mine.
Ingredients
Vegetable Oil
1lb Ground Beef
1/2 Cup Uncooked Rice
1/2 Cup Onion finely chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
16 oz Tomato Sauce
1 Cup Water
Preparation
Mix Beef, Rice and onion in a mixing bowl
Form into balls. Fry in a skillet in a small amount of Vegetable Oil until until browned. Add Tomato Sauce and Water. Cover and simmer for 35-45 minutes until sauce thickens and rice is fully cooked.
